you tube seems to be a very powerful tool to create awareness and 'Hype' about a new product / service. Especially platforms which are edgy and are enigmas (makes the audience ask questions)

Adidas 'About to blow'
This is a very clever campaign run for adidas through JD sports and RWD magazine which is run through blogs and viral ads, in which the youtube videos use up and coming music artists and sports persons using adidas which are posted to blogs and through youtube and spread, targeting their target market quite specifically.
